A look back at the Innovation Camp 2021

admin

Organized by the Energy Living Lab Association as part of the NTN Innovation Booster program, the Innovation Camp took place in early September at the Energypolis campus. This event was organized in parallel and in collaboration with the annual event of the European Network of Living Labs (ENoLL) – Digital Living Lab Days. The objective of the camp was to bring together a network of decarbonization stakeholders, including Living Labs, innovation teams, implementation partners, research partners, public authorities as well as open innovation experts.

The NTN Innovation Booster Living Labs for Energy Decarbonisation program wants to challenge the culture of creating and developing energy decarbonisation projects, innovating from the ground up with citizens and experimenting in a real-world setting. The Energy Living Lab Association (ELLA) conducts projects in collaboration with change agents to realize this vision. Innosuisse supports this program and finances projects throughout Switzerland.

The Innovation Camp therefore brought together different members of the consortium to co-create and debate for a few days on the topics of decarbonation, innovation and collaboration. First, we attended different talks around Campus Energypolis and sustainability in the city of Sion. The evening was followed by a “5 senses” cheese tasting and a raclette. The next day, the thirty participants followed different round tables within the framework of the Digital Living Lab Days organized by ENoLL on the subject of Livings Labs and mobility. The day was animated by different workshops highlighting the practices of Design Thinking. Finally, on the last day, the participants discovered the interior of Campus Energypolis and were able to exchange freely around a brunch.
